Moore in America
Thru November 2
 |
Moore in America: Monumental Sculpture at The New York Botanical Garden is the
largest outdoor exhibition of Henry Moore's sculpture ever presented in a single venue
in the United States. The collection of 20 major pieces are positioned throughout the
Garden's 250 acres and among its 50 gardens and plant collections. Moore once opined that
he would rather have a piece of sculpture put in a landscape, than in or
|
on the most beautiful building I know. How fortunate, that these works are in an
environment that is itself a work of art. Tickets can be purchased by calling 1(212) 721-6500; a per-ticket handling charge will apply.
