History: Branded as CIRCLE LINE DOWNTOWN in the global tourism community, the official name
for the company is Circle Line Harbor Cruises, LLC. The company is owned and operated by third
generation members of the original family who founded Circle Line Statue of Liberty Ferry, Inc. in 1953.
Established in 2003, Circle Line Harbor Cruises provides harbor cruises, special events, and private
charters aboard the luxury yacht ZEPHYR; catamaran vessel PATRIOT; and speedboat thrill rides
on SHARK. All vessels depart from the historic South Street Seaport’s Pier 16.
Circle Line Downtown is a separate company and not affiliated in any way with Circle Line/Circle Line
42nd Street/Circle Line Sightseeing Cruises.
Guided tours: 1 Hour ZEPHYR Seaport Liberty Cruise and the SHARK Speedboat Thrill Ride are guided.
The 30-minute Waterfall Tour has an introduction by “The New York City Waterfalls” artist Olafur Eliasson.
